ASB Impact is pleased to run the Global Social Entrepreneurship Summit again, an opportunity for students and teachers to explore global issues and challenges and work together on solutions. This 3-day summit is about envisioning what can be done to make the world a better place through entrepreneurship and then working in cross-school teams to identify real solutions and develop realistic sustainable action plans to implement.
What better place to do this than in Mumbai, "Maximum City", where entrepreneurial initiatives flourish and opportunities abound! Participants will have a day to visit local organisations and talk to people on the ground who are already implementing solutions to urban challenges, such as gender and education inequities, poverty and health issues. They will also have key speakers visit the summit and share their ideas for development and sustainability. Coupled with this is the opportunity to learn more about how technology, specifically tools that support community building, collaboration, co-creation, including social media, can be harnessed in bringing people together in support of a solution to an identified problem.
